A number of people told me my last post about loneliness felt sad. In truth, I wrote it a long time ago, way before the site was up. I had met a number of people at that time who like me, made recent transitions away from the corporate world and that was how they were feeling.  I was feeling that way too, so I wrote about it.

Yes, it's lonely at the top.  And at the bottom too, if you're starting out on your own.  One of the things that many of us struggle with when we have our own businesses, especially if we are sole proprietors and have spent most of our previous careers working for someone else, is loneliness.

I’ve been doing a lot of networking lately. It is probably the best way for me to generate clients. And that is true for many business people, especially those who are just starting out.
